  • Employee State Insurance Scheme is a social security scheme that is created to give some social protection to employees who are earning up to INR 21,000/- per month. The employer and employee participating in this scheme need to contribute a fixed amount to the fund on a monthly basis. The State Governments contribute a 1/8th share of cost of medical benefit as well.

  • This protection is offered against the events of maternity, sickness, death due to employment injury or disablement to provide medical care to the insured employees and their families.
